A dream that started in a small village called <strong>Thappal Varotu<\/strong> in the year <strong>1997<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At that time, there were no good schools in the area. Most children had to travel far to get even basic education. Many parents could not afford to send their children to towns or cities. As a result, many children dropped out or never got the chance to study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seeing this situation, <strong>Shri Ramesh Chandra Shastri<\/strong>, a respected member of the village and a man who deeply believed in education, decided to take action. He believed that every child \u2014 rich or poor, boy or girl \u2014 deserves the right to learn. With this thought in mind, he started <strong>Saraswati Model High School<\/strong> with a simple aim: to provide <strong>good education in the village itself<\/strong>, so no child would be left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The beginning was not easy. There were limited resources, not enough classrooms, and only a few teachers. But the belief was strong. Slowly, students started joining, and the school became a ray of hope for many families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soon after, another kind-hearted and dedicated person, <strong>Shri Rameshwar Prasad<\/strong>, joined Shri Ramesh Chandra Shastri in this mission. With his help, the school was able to shift to a <strong>new and better building in Sahota Varotu village<\/strong>. This was a big step in the school\u2019s growth. The villagers supported the effort with full heart, and it became a project the whole community felt proud of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>April 2005<\/strong>, the school got a special recognition when <strong>MLA Shri Ramesh Dutt Sharma<\/strong> visited the campus and inaugurated the new building. His presence gave the school confidence that it was moving in the right direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few years later, the school received <strong>official recognition from the Punjab Education Board<\/strong> in <strong>2008<\/strong>, and by <strong>2009<\/strong>, it got permission to teach up to <strong>Class 10<\/strong>. This was a proud moment for everyone \u2014 students, teachers, parents, and the founders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But behind the growth of Saraswati Model High School, there is also the inspiring story of <strong>Sardarni Pritam Kaur Gujral<\/strong>, the Chairperson of the school. After losing her husband at a young age, she single-handedly raised <strong>six children<\/strong>, giving them all a good education. Today, her children are doing well \u2014 one is a scientist, another is a financial advisor, and others are settled in their professions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her personal struggle taught her the value of education in real life. She knew how education can <strong>change lives<\/strong>, not just by giving knowledge but by giving <strong>hope, confidence, and strength<\/strong>. That is why she joined hands with the school \u2014 to make sure rural children also get the same chances as others. Under her leadership, the school has always focused on creating a safe, supportive, and values-based environment for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, Saraswati Model High School has grown step by step, without losing its original values. We now have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Science and computer labs<\/strong> to give students hands-on learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experienced and caring teachers<\/strong> who guide students like family<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clean and peaceful classrooms<\/strong> that help children focus on studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cultural programs and sports<\/strong> to develop confidence and team spirit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A strong record of results<\/strong>, showing that village children can shine too<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>But more than all this, we are proud to be <strong>a school with a heart<\/strong>. A school where every child matters. Where no one is judged by background or money. Where teachers know students by name, and students feel safe, seen, and supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents trust us because they know their children are not only learning math and English \u2014 they are also learning <strong>discipline, kindness, and honesty<\/strong>. They are learning to stand on their feet with pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Saraswati Model High School, we don\u2019t chase fancy trends. We stay true to our purpose \u2014 to provide <strong>real education with real values<\/strong>, close to home.
